i just wanna say what a great person stefan was. never in my life have i known someone for such a short time that has impacted me so much. for someone to welcome me in their life and open up so much for me, i'll always be greatfull and carry with me all that he's shown me. love and prayers always..............

just a note...
i have just come in from stefans memorial, and i have to say thank you to all who came a showed support to the family, friends and loved ones.
the speeches that were given were heartfelt, the drinks passed round in his name, well he would have drank half of them if he were with us.
stefan was truely celebrated tonight, i hope it instills all of us not to take for granted the little daily things that go by unnoticed. stefan lived the way he wanted, letting nothing stop him in his ventures.
he leaves behind alot, alot of friends, alot of family
he leaves behind a memory
let's not let him down, this is a time to take ahold of things and make them happen, time to spend with friends and new ideas. a time to change a grow as a family, because thats what we are. some of us dont speak to others as much as we should, but brothers and sisters dont always get along. but family comes first.
sure i might sound hokey but i dont care... have i ever?
this world rides on one thing .... love.. if you dont have that to share ... what do you have????
this glass is for stefan duece... brother your dues have been paid in full, may you rest peaceful, and move swiftly forward into a new adventure that awaits us all

Dear Stefan,
Although we lost touch and lived separate lives you were part of my family and the pain is still there.
I'm glad to see you touched so many lives and shared your love for life with everyone you met.
People say time will heal but i don't beleive that, time adds new memorys and new friends but the pain will always be there when you lose someone you love, not even something as powerful as time can take away the sadness.
Forever missed by those who love you....

there you are with that great big smile you always had...and that chuck of blonde hair that i put in for you a few years back. i laughed today thinking about the time i recently ran into the shop with a nipple ring 'emergency' and you laughed it off, calmed me down and fixed the problem effortlessly. i know everyone tries to be strong but i can't help but feel this is all so unfair. you are a great energy Stef and I will miss you terribly.

One of my first memories is of us playing in our grandparents' livingroom discussing that I would marry Grandpa & you would marry Grandma.
I will always remember our times tearing around Grandma & Grandpa's hiding from the younger children.
Because we grew up on opposite ends of Canada, our visits were few. These memories will be treasured. I regret that there are not more of them.

Stephan was one of those people we would see whenever we went to Toronto. He was always such an upbeat and nice guy. He will be missed by all.

A number of years ago I remember sitting in Stefan's place with a 12 pack having a couple of shoulder pieces done. It meant something to both of us as they were my kids names I had pretty much lost in a divorce, and Stef was building a portfolio at the time to become an artist.
He was one great fukkin guy.
He will live on through his work.

Stefan was one of the 1st people I met at the Empire night club almost 18 years ago - He was a great friend and it always amazed me that so many years went by and he never looked any older. To me he will always be that young guy I met so long ago. Stefan I will miss you and I am blessed with the momories that we shared.

Stefan, I am so very sad that you are gone. I haven't seen you since your wedding. I have so many great childhood memories of hanging out with you and Frank. You were such a cool older cousin- I felt cool by association when you got that mohawk when you were a teenager. I'm sorry we lost touch as we got older and now all I have left are memories. You can tell you were loved by many people and had loving friends. You will be missed by many, including me. Andrea

Being the first nephew in the Dewsbury Clan, Stefan has always been a very important person. Although our paths did not cross that often, because of distance, he has always been in our hearts and lives. Thanks for the memories of those special times. Love you for always!
